About Me
Hi, I’m Samantha Boateng and I am a writer, creator, and educator. I graduated from the College of William & Mary with my BA in English and History. I currently work as a corporate social media community manager. I am passionate about literacy and founded a non-profit organization, Read 2 Lead, in 2016. Since then, we have opened 3 libraries in Ghana that serve over 10,000 students and their families. I am the author of the children’s book “If You Give a Girl a Book”. I also write poetry and my poem “For all my beautiful black boys” won 1st place for Underground Magazine. In 2016, I was chosen as one of Her Campus’ 22 Under 22 Most Influential College Women of 2016. I am a former TEDx speaker and I currently teach public speaking, creative writing. I offer college advice and seminars on how to graduate debt-free. I also design simple websites for individuals and organizations. Learn more about me below.
